ErP directive. Ecodesign for energy-related products

Documents and requirements associated to RD 187/2011

OBJECTIVE
This Guide published by IHOBE seeks to summarise in a single document the current status of the Ecodesign Directive and the Energy Labelling Directive, which may affect all energy-related products. It seeks to be a merely practical Guide, where the user can easily find the reference documents for the different products where information or regulations are already available. It updates the Guide published by IHOBE in April 2001 on this same theme.

STRUCTURE
This Guide consists of a small introduction on the legislative framework associated to both Directives and data sheet summaries for each product category analysed. These datasheets include links to the original documents, which means they can be consulted if further details are required. The datasheets include different information sections: It provides the status of that category in the different legislative stages of development. It indicates if a regulation has already been published (in red in case of the Energy Efficiency Directive).
