Individualised monitoring reports

The annual environmental competitiveness and monitoring reports are the first value contribution described in the previous section obtained using the environmental watch system. They are personalised reports for each of the partner companies of the Basque Ecodesign Center.

These documents are structured into the following blocks of information:

• - A diagnosis of the company's environmental courses of action regarding the environment into two specific areas: the Environment & Company and the Environment & Product.
• - A summary of the main alerts identified (technological aspects that the market offers, new legislation or market instruments, activities of competitors, new business methods detected, etc.).
• - A series of possible eco-innovation proposals to be developed, either individually or working with other partners, to improve the positioning of each company and structured in three innovation levels according to their complexity (nuclear, adjacent or radical).

Using those reports, and after a feedback session with each of the partner companies, the subsequent work is defined that will form part of the technical project portfolio to be developed each year.

Once the report is completed, the monitoring work does not end, but rather continues throughout the rest of the year. The objective is then to fine-tune the measures implemented and to be the basis of the new reports in the following year.
